For the Rafi & Olga FW15 collection, we took inspiration from the youth of Japan. When innovation takes place, the young are at the forefront of testing it. And who is more befitting than the youth of Japan - encompassing their interest in art through their personal expression of minute details: be it the Hosuto, who wear their hair in a certain way; or the Dekora whose choices in pungent colors and accessories would remind one of spring even in frigid winter; or the young businessman whose choice of formal wear takes you back to feudal Japan. We translated these themes of bold expression and playfulness with statement color and patterns – a white shirt printed with colorful face masks, a pink shirt with hints of green, a purple shirt mimicking a kimono print – paired with timelessly sophisticated suits, worn formal or styled separately for a casual look. With its high waist line, cropped blazers and a daring line for the waistcoat, Rafi & Olga’s Fall/Winter'15 collection offers a fresh update to the classic three piece suit, for a personality-driven look accented by whimsical patterns and unique accessories.
